Counseling Education Training Clinic

The clinic provides hands-on experience for graduate students in the mental health program. Starting in their second semester, students complete practicum hours by offering counseling services to Southeast students. They accrue at least 40 direct counseling hours, working with clients on a wide range of issues, from adjusting to college life to addressing trauma. 

Graduates have expressed how this clinic experience boosted their confidence, making them feel much more prepared to step into internships and community work. Supervision is provided by licensed professional counselors, ensuring a supportive learning environment.This personalized support helps students grow into confident professionals ready to take on the world.
